Field tools · with Reloading All Day

RAD measured POI shift across 32 AR-15 platforms. We built the tool to see it.

Reloading All Day (RAD) ran the test almost nobody else has: laser-measured point-of-impact shift, platform by platform, position by position, across two full passes. The rounds, the measurement, the footage, the years of chasing this down. That is all his. We took his data and built an interactive way to explore it, and we host it here so it loads fast and stays put. Watch his test first.

The interactive visualizer

The AR-15 POI Shift Visualizer interface — barrel point-of-impact shift plotted on a reticle in milliradians, with a platform list and position selector.

Pick a platform, step through every shooting position, and watch the impact move off zero on the reticle. Magnitudes are in milliradians against a true center, so you can see exactly where and how far the round walks. Compare two platforms side by side, sort by worst-case or average shift, and read each call against RAD's measured data.

32 platforms · 19 positions · laser-measured in milliradians. Test footage and data by Reloading All Day. The visualizer is powered by Known Dope LLC.
